Is The Devil's Hour on Netflix? (where to watch The Devil's Hour)

Peter Capaldi stars in the new British thriller series The Devil’s Hour releasing this weekend just in time for Halloween. Can you watch The Devil’s Hour on Netflix?

Like the title of the show suggests, The Devil’s Hour focuses on the mysterious hour between 3 and 4 a.m. believed to be “the haunting hour,” or, in the case of this show, “the devil’s hour,” (I’ve also heard it referred to as “the witching hour”). Lucy Chambers (Jessica Raine) has woken up every night at 3:33 a.m. for some reason for basically her entire life and now it appears she has some kind of connection to an active serial killer.

The detectives on the case believe Lucy might be the key to catching the killer as she shares a special connection with one of his victims.

It looks like Capaldi plays the murderer, a man named Gideon, who has a Hannibal-and-Clarice-type relationship with Lucy as he tries to coax her into remembering things. Lucy’s relationship with time is nebulous and warped, to say the least. The trailer makes the series look pretty trippy, ideal for anyone who likes psychological thrillers.

No, The Devil’s Hour is going to be released on Amazon Prime Video, so it will not be available to stream on Netflix. The good news is that Netflix has a lot of great horror content if you’re looking for something new to watch in the lead-up to Halloween.

Guillermo del Toro’s frightening new horror anthology series Cabinet of Curiosities is now streaming alongside projects like Devil in Ohio, The Wretched, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, and other scary movies and shows.

The Devil’s Hour will only be available to stream with a subscription to Amazon Prime Video as the series is an Amazon Original.
