In high school, he performed in school chorus competitions. He graduated from Beijing Film Academy.

He sang two songs for the drama series Love Is Is The Air called "Guests" and "Maybe I Love You". He appeared in more than thirty episodes of the show The Imperial Coroner, playing the character Xiao Jinyu.
