American Politician and Lawyer who is best known as the Mayor of Atlanta, Georgia after being elected in 2017. She was a member of the City Council before being elected as the 60th Mayor of Atlanta.

She attended Florida A&M University for her Bachelor's Degree and then Georgia State University for Law school.

Her father, Major Lance, was an R&B singer. She has four children with her husband Derek.
