Does Brady die in Virgin River season 4? (Spoilers)

When we last saw Brady in Virgin River season 3, things weren’t looking great for Virgin River’s most troubled resident… and sadly, he’s not in the best of places as the new season begins.

As season 3 comes to an end, Brady was taken into custody after being arrested for the attempted murder of Jack. While Brady was adamant about his innocence, the evidence was stacked against him with the cops even finding the gun used to shoot Jack under the seat of his car.

Warning: Virgin River season 4 spoilers ahead! 

Fast forward to season 4, Brady finds himself behind bars awaiting trial for shooting Jack. Brady being Brady, he doesn’t seem eager to make friends with any of his fellow inmates — including Jimmy and the men swept up by the raid Brady played a role in.

In fact, the very first time we see Brady in season 4, he gets into a confrontation with Jimmy who makes it clear Brady better watch his back. Unfortunately for Brady, Jimmy decides to make good on his threat and jumps him later in the premiere.

While it looks like Brady is able to fend him off, he wasn’t expecting another prisoner to blindside him and, literally, stab him in the back.

As the Virgin River season 4 premiere comes to a close, Brady is seen bleeding out in the prison yard after being jumped by his fellow inmates. In the moment, things don’t look good for Brady, but you can breathe a sigh of relief now because he does not die as the result of the stabbing.

Following his attack in the prison yard, Brady is taken to the hospital where he is treated for his injuries and pulls through. He’s later released on bail, which prevents him from coming into contact with Jimmy or his goons again in the prison yard.

While it’s not smooth sailing for Brady once he gets out of prison on bail, things do get better for him as the season progresses and fans will be happy to know he is alive and well by the time the season comes to a close!
